Tim’s Woodshop was established in 1985. After making furniture for ten years I decided to begin making trim. I began in a 14′ X 20′ building with a single head molder to run trim on.
The second year in business I began to make doors as well as trim. I purchased several more pieces of machinery as well as hired the first employee.
The fourth year in business I hired an additional employee and again purchased additional machinery. I purchased a four head molder and began making flooring as well.
The sixth year I had a total of six employees beside myself. I had also purchased a copy lathe to make stair parts and hired an employee primarily for that position.
Today, we still have six employees. Combined we have over 70 years of woodworking experience. We specialize in hardwood doors, trim, flooring, and stair parts. We have upgraded our machinery to include one 36″ wide belt sander, numerous shapers, rip saws, cut-off saws, as well as two five head molders. We are able to make our own knife profiles to match virtually any pattern required. Our door patterns are all run with insert tooling allowing us to match door profiles year after year. Generally, we make standard door profiles such as six panel, but custom door profiles are available upon request usually without an additional up charge.
Today, we currently have our shop in a 25,000 square ft. building. Whether it is an order for one door or an order for a complete house we strive to give all customers the same attention. All orders are very much appreciated.
